National Water Development Agency, an autonomous organization under India's Ministry of Jal Shakti. It was established in 1982 to carry out detailed studies and implement the Interlinking of Rivers (ILR) project. NWDA's goal is to ensure optimal water resource utilization for irrigation, drinking, and power generation.
